How do I start the free trial?
Download HACCPapp from Google Play, create an account with your email and business name, then tap Start Free Trial. You get a 14-day free trial with full access to every feature — no payment is taken until the trial ends, and you can cancel any time before then.
How does billing work?
After your 14-day free trial, HACCPapp is £9.99 per month, billed securely through Google Play Billing. We never see or store your card details — Google handles all payments. You can view your subscription and payment history any time in the Google Play Store under Payments & subscriptions.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open the Google Play Store, tap your profile icon, go to Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions, select HACCPapp and tap Cancel subscription. You'll keep access until the end of your current billing period. Cancelling before day 14 of the trial means you are never charged.
Does HACCPapp work offline?
Yes. HACCPapp is offline-first, so you can log temperatures, complete daily checks and add records with no internet connection — perfect for cold rooms and busy kitchens. Your records are stored on your device and automatically sync to encrypted cloud storage as soon as you're back online.
How do I export the EHO inspection PDF?
Open the Reports section, choose your date range and tap Generate PDF. HACCPapp builds an inspection-ready document containing your temperature logs, daily checks, cleaning schedules and allergen matrix that you can show an EHO or EU inspector, or share by email.
How do I add staff members?
Go to Settings › Team and tap Add staff. Enter the staff member's name so their completed checks are attributed to them. Staff names are optional and you can edit or remove them at any time.
How do I reset my password?
On the sign-in screen tap Forgot password and enter your account email. We'll send a secure reset link. If it doesn't arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder or email [email protected] and we'll help you regain access.
Is my data backed up?
Yes. Your records are stored offline-first on your device and synced to encrypted cloud storage with regular backups, so they're safe even if you lose or replace your phone. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS — read more in our Security overview.
Which countries does HACCPapp support?
HACCPapp is built for food businesses in the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Ireland, Australia and across the EU. It aligns with EU Regulation 852/2004 and the UK Food Safety Act 1990, and works for cafés, restaurants, takeaways and pubs anywhere with Google Play.
How do I delete my account and data?
